Boucherie Jean-Guy Soucy Inc. Is the story of a family enterprise who was able to innovate and evolve to become a reference in the meat transformation industry.
Official Opening
It is on the 10th of June 1976 that Boucherie Jean-Guy Soucy Inc. started its activities in retail sales. Located in the municipality of L’Acadie, next to Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, the family enterprise quickly made its mark by offering its many customers high quality products suited to their needs. Already Jean-Guy and Jacqueline Soucy’s company is synonymous with excellence in always trying to provide what the customer requires.
Big Expansion Projects
1994: Construction of a new workshop for the production controlled portions
1998: Major expansion bringing the installations from 9,000 to 31,000 square feet
2000: Boucherie Jean-Guy Soucy Inc. now makes way for Counter Ready product.
Major Investment in Technologies
2004: Following major investments in new technologies, Boucherie Jean-Guy Soucy Inc. decides to focus exclusively on bulk sales.
New Plant
2008: Construction of a new plant. Since 1976, Boucherie Jean-Guy Soucy Inc. has gained the confidence of Québec and Canadian enterprises. It now supplies large supermarket chain stores with commodity items, value added products as well as private labels.
